Dropbox
More security for your Dropbox account
You can protect your Dropbox account by FIDO U2F, an open two-factor authentication standard.
Here, U2F-capable security tokens offer a supplemental factor for logging into your account in addition to your password. Your account is safe – even if your password is hacked or your security key is stolen – because another person would need both factors to register in your place.

YubiKeys
The YubiKey NEO, YubiKey 4 and FIDO U2F Security Key support the U2F standard. You can use USB tokens from Yubico quickly and easily to protect your Dropbox account. Simply insert your YubiKey into a USB port and tap on the gold sensor during authentication.

What do I need for U2F authentication?
You only need a U2F-capable security key, a Dropbox account and the Google Chrome Browser (from Version 38). No software is needed for two-factor authentication of Dropbox.
